The Council is funding Small Grants!

November 10, 2025

The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council is excited to fund Small Grants again. Small Grants benefit people with developmental disabilities in Maryland. People, groups, and organizations can apply.

Small Grants can fund projects and trainings in Maryland. They have to be related to the Council’s mission: We create change to make it possible for people with developmental disabilities to live the lives they want with the support they need. They have to help the Council make progress on the priorities described in our State Plan.

We are now accepting applications for Small Grants. Learn more about the types of grants we fund below.

Projects

  • The amount requested must be $5,000 or less.
  • Any person, group or organization can apply.

Small Grant applications can be submitted at any time. Submit your application far ahead of the start date of your project or training. If you wait too long, the committee that reviews applications might not meet in time.
